The 2011 Pageant was held on Saturday, September 10th at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord, NC.  41 contestants competed for the four titles

The Cabarrus County Fair Pageant is held each year on the first Saturday of the Cabarrus County Fair.  It is for girls grades 1st through 12th and four winners are crowned.  Winners receive a crown, sash, trophy, $50 and four fair admission tickets.  They are able to ride in local parades and make various appearances throughout Cabarrus County.  This is a natural, sundress pageant.  Competition consists of and on-stage introduction and modeling of a sundress.

 

1st and 2nd runner ups will also receive a tiara and be invited to ride on the Cabarrus County Fair Float in the Concord Christmas Parade.

Why compete in the Cabarrus County Fair Pageant?
 
This is a simple, natural pageant where girls are to be themselves and the attire is sundresses.  This is perfect for young ladies that have never done a pageant and just want to check it out to see how they like it.  All contestants will receive an item of recognition.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

What types of appearances do the Fair Queens make?

 

The reigning fair queens participate in community events such as taking treats to the children at Jeff Gordon's Childrens Hospital, playing bingo with residents of assisted living centers, hosting community carnivals, riding in parades, etc.
